2025 Summer Skills Program

The Tewksbury Boys Basketball League is excited to offer a 6-week summer skills program. The program will provide coaching on the fundamental skills of basketball such as, but not limited to, dribbling, shooting, and passing. This program does not require any previous TBBL registration and is open for all skill levels across our in-town and travel basketball teams.

Who is this league for?

This league is for players of all skill levels entering 3rd - 8th grade for the '25 - '26 school year. We will additionally offer a designated session for players entering 9th grade who will be trying out for a high school team on Mondays ONLY. The sessions will be broken up as follows:

  • Entering 3rd - 5th Grade
  • Entering 6th - 8th Grade
  • Entering 9th Grade
who will be leading/coaching the sessions?

Our many coaching volunteers throughout seasons past will continue to lead the growth of our program throughout these sessions. The TBBL league will also be providing input as to suggested drills and exercises in our continued efforts to uplift our league's sill level.

When will this Program run?

The program will run from Monday, June 23rd and go until July 30th. The 9th grade session will be held on Mondays ONLY.

What days & times will the sessions be offered?

The program will be offered every Monday and Wednesday night at the Center School.

  • Mondays
    • 5:30 PM - 6:45 PM will be 3rd - 5th grade
    • 6:45 PM - 8:00 PM will be 6th - 8th grade
    • 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM will be 9th grade
  • Wednesdays
    • 5:30 PM - 6:45 PM will be 3rd - 5th grade
    • 6:45 PM - 8:00 PM will be 6th - 8th grade
what is the cost?

The cost will be as follows:

  • $40 for 3rd - 5th Grade
  • $40 for 6th - 8th Grade
  • FREE for 9th Grade
will i need to buy any additional equipment for the program?

No, but we ask that every player bring their own water bottle and their own basketball (28.5 for 3rd & 4th graders, 29.5 for all other ages).
